A moment of vulnerability
Believe it or not, I have struggled to pursue not just photography, but any passion of mine to the fullest. I lack confidence in myself and at times feel undeserving of success.
In July of 2023 I went through a near death experience in a car accident. In a matter of seconds I saw my life flash before me and remember thinking to myself, perhaps even saying it out loud, “I hope my family knows I love them. Is this it? Liz?! What is happening?! Oh my God. I AM NOT DONE HERE YET!”
Since then I have been in a healing journey. Not just physically, but mentally and emotionally. I have somehow managed my whole life to block myself from allowing my dreams and passions to become my reality. 2025 is the year I have told myself that I am deserving of good things. So here is to pursuing my bliss while simultaneously capturing yours through my lens. “Capturing memories for a lifetime.”

You might be asking who is Liz from my previous statement.
Liz was a dear cousin of mine who died at the scene of a car accident the night before my birthday in 2017. She was my age and was taken too soon. I always think of her when I doubt myself and know if she were here, she’d be my biggest cheerleader.
I took this photo of her one day for funsies. She always believed I’d be a “cool photographer” one day.
I am grateful to have such a beautiful memory of her smile.
